ASA Identified by Experts as a Top Nonprofit Working in the Field of Aging in the U.S.

In October 2011, we were honored to learn that a group of 88 experts identified American Society on Aging (ASA) as 1 of 13 high-impact nonprofits working in the field of aging in the U.S. Some of reviews experts had about our impact were:

“ASA has been the leading organization on aging services for over 50 years.”

“ASA is a great place to discuss any issues about aging with not only practioners but also researchers.”

“They are good at gathering and sharing information and education on all aspects of aging on a national scale. They also contribute to advocacy efforts designed to create positive change, in particular with their national conference and national publications.”

To read more about experts in the field have to say about American Society on Aging (ASA) click on the Expert Reviews section on our organization profile here: http://myphilanthropedia.org/top-nonprofits/national/aging/american-soci....

Philanthropedia (at GuideStar) is a nonprofit organization working to help donors make smarter donations by connecting them with some of the highest impact nonprofits in a cause. They are different from other online rating sites or donation sites because they use experts to identify high-impact nonprofits.

All the information collected from the research is available on Philanthropedia’s website and will shortly be available on GuideStar Take Action’s website.
