How to Use an Evaluation Effectively
When evaluation reports are written effectively with clear language and tailored to the needs of those who can use them, they allow you to make the most of your program and begin making valuable improvements in the services you are offering. Your staff, board members, program sponsors and managers should be aware that the evaluation process is designed to expose how to make improvements in your driving program. Use the information in the report not to highlight successes, failures or shortcomings, but as suggestions for improving your program or developing a new one.32
