The October Roundtable will be an examination of high-profile policy issues at the state and national levels.

We will consider and discuss:
• policy development during an election year,
• the fate of the Affordable Care Act, 
• what happened to the initiative to make the Illinois Community Care Program “Medicaid Only”, 
• will Illinois protect nursing home residents from being involuntary discharged if coming back from a hospital stay,
• the Medicare “guard your card” massive replacement of the Medicare paper cards and numbers, and 
• other important issues you may be following and coming up next year.
