Congressional Breakfast Briefing

Full Description: 

In recognition of National Employ Older Workers Week, we invite you to attend a briefing on the challenges older workers face in the current fiscal environment. Speakers will combine research on the aging workforce with personal testimony to highlight the impact of the recession on older workers, and how programs like the Senior Community Service Employment Program (Title V of the Older Americans Act) provide livelihood for low-income older workers while giving back to local communities.

All attendees will receive a copy, and executive summary, of the recent Public Policy & Aging Report titled “Older Workers: Problems and Prospects in an Aging Workforce.”
