A message from ASA Board Chair, Bob Blancato

Please join me in making a year-end contribution to support ASA’s work in serving students and emerging professionals. The amount you can send is not as important as the fact that your contribution will serve as a testament to your commitment to helping students and emerging professionals enter and rise in this important field.

With ASA’s online Mentor Advantage connecting students to seasoned professionals, we are making great progress in nurturing the next generation of professionals. In addition, for our 2017 Aging in America Conference, students who volunteer one of the days will be able to attend for free. We are especially excited about our new Corps of Accomplished Professionals [CAPs] and their capacity to take our work with students and emerging professionals to the next levels. CAPs will be comprised of seasoned ASA member professionals in or near retirement whose knowledge and wisdom will be harnessed to support those entering the field of aging.

Your ASA membership says something significant about your commitment to the field of aging and about the work you do. Because of the tens of thousands of professionals like us working in this important field we have a strong and viable association we can call our own. Please join me in harnessing this strength to help the next generations of leaders.

Sincerely,

Bob Blancato, ASA Board Chair
and President, Matz, Blancato and Associates
