Version of This Event

This webinar focuses on several steps you can take to help the older adults you serve develop better nutrition and eating habits. From helping them prepare for and shop for groceries; to helping them select foods that are high in nutrition and loaded with important vitamins, minerals and fiber; to giving them ideas on how to prepare foods that not only are good for them but taste good too.

Participants in this web seminar will be able to:

  • List at least three simple ways to help older adults shop for good food and eat right
  • Describe ways to manage specific dietary concerns, such as diabetes
  • Identify the benefits of proper nutrition and the impact of poor nutrition on older adults

Presenter:

Molly Carpenter is Home Instead Senior Care's CAREGiver Advocate and author of the not-for-profit book, Confidence to Care, a resource for family caregivers.
