There are 5.5 million caregivers supporting our nation’s wounded warriors. With the rapidly growing population of Vietnam Era veterans ages 65 years and older, as well as parents and grandparents now supporting those injured in Iraq and Afghanistan, this is increasingly a concern for the broader aging network. In this web seminar you will learn about the challenges in the lives of these “Hidden Heroes,” emerging programs and services, and the role that foundations can play in helping to end their isolation and desperation.
