It’s the conversation you wish you could have every day. Each Gathering meets online throughout the year and comes together in person at On Aging 2026.

Member Spotlight
I really value ASA because it helps me access a nationwide network where I can share ideas, best practices and exchange solutions to organizational challenges. By amplifying marginalized voices and advocating for policy changes, I am able to help create a more equitable society.
My ASA membership has made a positive impact on my life by providing a wealth of information and resources that impact all seniors, including seniors of color. My involvement has supported my work in the aging space by connecting me with some of the best minds in Aging who display a fervent altruism to help seniors and caregivers.
I joined ASA almost 20 years ago when I was a newbie in the aging space. I had just founded a nonprofit, OATS, to help older adults learn technology, and ASA quickly became my go-to place for quality information about the field. I learned about the latest research, program models, funding opportunities, and policy trends—mostly from attending the conference, but also from reading ASA’s Generations and other publications of theirs. I also made a ton of professional contacts. As someone without formal training in the field of gerontology, I could never have accomplished as much without the support of ASA.
