On Aging 2027 Terms and Conditions
By registering for or attending On Aging 2027, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Member Rate Eligibility
A current ASA membership is required through April 1, 2027 to qualify for the member registration rate. Membership status will be verified at the time of registration and again prior to the conference.
To avoid a rate adjustment, we recommend confirming your membership is active before completing your registration. You can check your membership status by signing in to your ASA account.
If your membership expires before April 1, 2027, you are responsible for renewing before attending. For questions about your membership status, contact the ASA membership team at membership@asaging.org.
Assumption of Risk
By submitting your registration, you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own safety and actions while attending On Aging 2027. You recognize that participation in any in-person event carries inherent risks, including exposure to communicable illness. By registering, you assume all such risks and agree that ASA bears no liability for illness, injury, or related harm arising from your attendance. If emergency medical services are required during the event, you authorize those services and accept responsibility for any associated costs. This agreement applies to you and your successors and heirs.
Cancellation Policy
To request a refund, send a written request by email to onaging@canvasmeetings.com.
Refunds are processed as follows:
- Before December 1, 2026: 75% refund of your registration fee
- December 1, 2026 through February 28, 2027: 50% refund of your registration fee
- After February 28, 2027: No refunds will be issued
If you are experiencing illness symptoms within two weeks of the conference and cannot attend, please contact us at onaging@canvasmeetings.com so we can work with you directly.
Additional cancellation terms:
- Registration fees are non-refundable if the conference is cancelled due to circumstances beyond ASA’s control.
- Payments for optional conference events are non-refundable.
Disclaimer of Liability
ASA makes no representations regarding the accuracy or completeness of information presented during On Aging 2027. By attending, you waive any claim against ASA and its staff or representatives arising from reliance on conference content.
ASA, its staff, elected officials, presenters, and affiliated individuals and entities are released from all liability connected with your participation, including any changes to the schedule, sessions, or activities.
Photography, Video, and Media Consent
By attending On Aging 2027, you consent to ASA’s use and distribution of your image, voice, and likeness captured in photographs, video, audio, and electronic or print reproductions produced during the event. This consent applies to current and future use.
