Registration Rates & Deadlines

First chance pricing is open Aug. 3–31, 2026. Standard conference registration will open Oct. 1, 2026. Please refer to the table below for all conference rates and deadlines.

 The student rate is only available for active undergraduate and graduate students at a university or college.

 If you’re selected to present, you’ll receive a special discounted rate from October 1–November 30. More details are coming soon. Be sure to take advantage of this first chance registration window to secure the lowest rate available.

 Volunteers will also have access to a discounted rate, more information to come in October 2026 on how to apply to volunteer at On Aging 2027.

 Registration grants you access to all workshops, ASA-organized networking programs, the exhibit hall, keynote events, and the On Aging Celebration reception. Some sponsored networking programs and receptions may be invite-only. Lunch & Learns have limited capacity and may require a separate sign-up outside of registration due to food and space limits.

 Group rates will not be available during first chance pricing.

 Note: Membership status will be verified upon registration. If our records indicate that the registrant does not have an active membership, the registration will be updated accordingly and the difference in rate will be invoiced.

If you purchased a member registration for the conference, your membership will need to be active during the conference dates. Membership status will be verified upon registration and prior to the conference. If our records indicate that the attendee does not have an active membership at the time the conference begins, the registration will be updated accordingly and the difference in rate will be invoiced. If there are any questions about renewing your membership, please contact membership@asaging.org. If you purchased a non-member registration for the conference, you do not need to renew prior to the conference dates.

Special discounted group rates will not be available during first chance pricing. You will be able to register two or more people at one time during the first chance pricing window.

During standard and last chance pricing windows, organizations registering 10 or more attendees as Full Conference attendees will receive $50 off each registration as a group discount.

We do not offer a dedicated government rate. However, discounted rates are available for students and retired professionals. Additionally, a first chance discount is available for all attendees who register by Aug. 31.

General Questions

On Aging 2027 will take place March 29 – April 1, 2027 in San Diego, California at the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego (1 Market Pl, San Diego, CA 92101). All conference activities will take place at the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego.

No. Membership is not required to attend On Aging 2027. Anyone can register for the conference, but ASA members receive a discounted registration rate.

Want to get the member rate? Be sure to purchase membership before registering for conference.

On Aging 2027 will be held in San Diego, California. We are not offering a virtual option. Certain sessions will be recorded and made available to members after the conference.

ASA will provide complimentary CE credits at On Aging 2027 for select sessions. We will have detailed CE instructions available in early 2027.

Yes! You may complete your payment via check by mailing it to PO Box 103088, Pasadena, CA 91189-3088. If you are mailing a check, please be sure to include your invoice number. Please note, when paying by check, the invoiced rate will expire 45 days after your registration invoice has been created. Payment must be completed within 45 days of registering.

Yes, we do! There are many ways to save. 

• Save when you purchase your ticket early: First Chance Pricing (Aug. 3-31)
• Students and retired professionals receive discounted rates.
• Presenters that register prior to Nov. 30 receive a discounted rate.
• Volunteers will receive a discounted rate. More information on how to apply to be a volunteer for On Aging 2027 will be released in October 2026.
• Groups of 10 or more receive a discounted rate during standard and last chance pricing. Email onaging@canvasmeetings.comto learn more about the group rate. 

ASA does not pay speaker fees. We are proud to offer a dynamic, collaborative space for speakers to elevate their work. 

After Feb. 28, 2027, no refunds will be issued. Please see our cancellation policy timeline below for information on deadlines for cancellation requests. 

Cancellation Policy

To request a refund, send a written request by email to onaging@canvasmeetings.com. Refunds are processed as follows:

• Before December 1, 2026: 75% refund of your registration fee
• December 1, 2026 through February 28, 2027: 50% refund of your registration fee
• After February 28, 2027: No refunds will be issued

 If you are experiencing illness symptoms within two weeks of the conference and cannot attend, please contact us at onaging@canvasmeetings.com so we can work with you directly.

 Additional cancellation terms:

• Registration fees are non-refundable if the conference is cancelled due to circumstances beyond ASA’s control.
• Payments for optional conference events are non-refundable.
• Registration transfers are permitted for a $50 processing fee. Email onaging@canvasmeetings.com to begin the transfer process.

A small number of sessions will require pre-registration, which will be opened as we get closer to the conference. Keep an eye out for ASA communications with instructions on how to do this. However, most sessions will not require pre-registration. 

On-site registration may be available, but it is not guaranteed. If the conference sells out in advance, on-site registration will close.

Thank you for your interest in presenting at On Aging 2027. Call for proposals ran July 16 through August 16, 2026 and our application to present is currently closed. Selected presenters will be notified in October 2026.
