Our workforce needs to include older adults. Older adults are often overlooked in the workforce despite years of professional experience and skills. Workers ages 50 and older make up more than a third of our country’s workforce and the average retirement age is now 61, yet ageism and age discrimination remain commonplace in the hiring process and in the workplace.
