It is more important than ever that we support organizations that are committed to age-inclusive hiring practices.
Our workforce needs to include older adults. Older adults are often overlooked in the workforce despite years of professional experience and skills. Workers ages 50 and older make up more than a third of our country’s workforce and the average retirement age is now 61, yet ageism and age discrimination remain commonplace in the hiring process and in the workplace.
ASA is committed to combating ageism and age-based bias, and promoting age inclusion in the workforce, as well as age-inclusive hiring. To support this effort, we are highlighting age-inclusive employers.
On this page you will find a variety of resources, including articles in the Future of Work series brought to you by AARP, links to job boards of age-inclusive employers and a link to ASA's job board.
