Our shifting financial landscape has resulted in changes to resources and programs available to older adults all across our country. Concurrently, the number of those needing help has increased—while for support organizations who meet those needs has declined.
Join us at this interactive session to learn how these changes are impacting our federal, state, and local services for older adults. As a panel, speakers will provide a snapshot of changes in their realm, forecast the coming year, and offer suggestions for working together and weathering difficult times.
Speakers:
Jim Varpness, Regional Administrator, Region 5, Administration on Aging
Michael Gelder, Interim Director, Illinois Department on Aging
Lucia Jones, Executive Director, Northeastern Illinois Area Agency on Aging
All are welcome at this free event, however registration is required.
