Presenter:
Ian Brown is vice president and chief employee experience officer at Duke University Health System, leading the organization’s diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging strategy and well-being and workplace safety initiatives. Brown has served in various senior-level roles in national healthcare, senior living and educational organizations, leading culture, diversity, talent, community outreach, and operations. In these roles, he had responsibility for leading more than 1,200 employees and managing budgets in excess of $200 million. Brown also has served as a board member for numerous charitable organizations whose missions include higher education, advocacy for older adults, including LGBTQ+ elders, youth, healthcare, affordable housing and hunger.
