What is On Aging?

On Aging is the nation’s largest multidisciplinary conference on aging and the annual conference for members of the American Society on Aging. On Aging 2025 is an opportunity to connect, learn, and share your expertise with thousands of professionals working in aging and related fields. This year we are uniting on the topic of Ageism & Culture, with Keynote speakers and special events focused on combating ageism in our society.

On Aging 2025 will take place April 21–24, 2025 at the Hyatt Regency Orlando.

On Aging 2025 Registration is Now Closed

As of April 14, 2025, registration for On Aging is officially closed. A waitlist is now open for those still interested in attending. If you have any questions about the conference or would like to join the waitlist, please contact us at onaging@asaging.org.

Ageism—stereotypes, prejudice, and discrimination directed toward others or oneself based upon age—has profound social, economic and health impacts. The focus of On Aging 2025 will be to address ageism and its deep-rooted, pervasive presence in our culture.

By bringing together experts, policymakers and advocates, On Aging 2025 will explore innovative solutions and policy recommendations that could make our society more age-inclusive. The conference also will emphasize the importance of culture change, promoting positive representations of aging and fostering intergenerational understanding.
