Each year, The John A. Hartford Foundation Business Innovation Award recognizes community-based organizations that are improving health outcomes and quality of life for older adults and/or persons with disabilities, in their communities. In 2020, the Aging and Disability Business Institute recognized several innovative programs. Runners up for The John A. Hartford Foundation 2020 Business Innovation Award were Homage in Lynnwood, Wash., for its case management program, Lifespan of Greater Rochester in Rochester, NY, for its Community Care Connections Program and The Independence Center in Colorado Springs, Colo. Presenters:

	Rory Daly, MPP, is n4a’s communications associate. Daly works primarily with n4a’s Aging and Disability Business Institute, helping to advance its communication and outreach goals. Prior to joining n4a, Rory worked with several other nonprofits, including AARP Foundation, United Way of Northern New Jersey and the Arc of Atlantic County.
	Indy Frazee, MBA, is home health administrator for The Independence Center in Colorado Springs, where she oversees home health services, the CNA Training Program, the Hospital to Home Program and the Veteran In Charge Program. Before joining The Independence Center, Indy served six years as the Director of Finance for Discover Goodwill.
	Steve McGraw, MS, for the past five years has been CEO of Homage, an organization providing comprehensive services to older adults and people with disabilities in Snohomish County, Wash., where he spearheaded Homage’s successful pivot to providing services to ameliorate social determinants of health. He has for the past 25 years served as CEO of social services, healthcare and education nonprofits.
	Tim Rowan for five years was IT director at Physicians Home Health Care in Colorado Springs. In 1999, he took over the reins as editor of Home Care Technology Report, which has become the industry's most widely read journal covering technology and regulatory issues for home health, home care and hospice providers. He recently published his first book, “Entrepreneurial Insanity in the Home Care Business.”
	Ann Marie Cook, MPA, is president/CEO for Lifespan of Greater Rochester. She chairs the Monroe County Council for Elders and serves as co-chair of the New York State Coalition on Elder Abuse Advisory Committee. Cook also serves on the Monroe County Systems Integration committee, on Sen. Gillibrand’s Working Group on the Aging and is part of a consortium of agencies working on a Livable Communities designation for the Northeast region. Ms. Cook is the former chair of the New York State Coalition on Aging, and was a delegate to the 2005 White House Conference on Aging.
