End-of-life care is something all Americans will encounter—for themselves and their loved ones—and we will all need that support in some form, at some time. Professionals who care about the experiences of people at the end of life are already poised to advocate, whether they work in medicine, community health, financial services, or a related field, but they may not be sure where to start.

There is often uncertainty around what advocacy can look like, especially with a topic like end-of-life care and options. Facilitated by advocacy, policy and clinical experts, this session aims to give attendees insight on health policy, a deeper understanding of advocacy in action, and discuss ways to use your professional experience to advocate for end-of-life options.

Participants in this webinar will be able to:

  • Identify two routes for activism on an individual level
  • Understand effective routes to connect with lawmakers
  • Access resources for deeper learning and to plan future actions
